Updates and Competition Winners
Firsts of all, thank you to all those that entered the Spiderman Web of Shadows Competition. Also congratulations to the winner "Fang_Un". Hope you enjoy Spideys latest gaming adventure.
Secondly an update on game reviews. The next set of games that will be reviewed and are almost complete are:

Several surprises.
And of course those submitted by viewers.

As of this week we'll be running competitions here at RevanDesigns. Sometimes we'll ask our viewers a question other times we'll have more creative requirements, such as designing a character for the site, captions ect.
This week we'll start off simple. The prize is a copy of Spiderman: Web of Shadows (reviewed here) on the Xbox360. Pretty sweet prize.

So we've gotten quite a few emails asking us about how certain things are done, what we like and why we're doing this. So we've managed to sort out some of them (there were loads) and try and answer a few right now.
Q: Who is the RevanDesigns game reviewer?
A: The person who does 99.999% of the reviews here goes by the name LadyRevan or Miss Hat. At the moment she's feeling the first name is a bit too dominatrix so has just been labelling emails ect as Miss Hat. Oh and yes she's a female of the female variety. And also an avid and extremely hardcore gamer. FEAR HER.
Q: How does the reviewer choose what games to review?
A: Well the majority of the reviews here are from requests made by people. Some games like the The Thing are done simply because she that shall not be name or Miss Hat to those brave enough, wants to do them. If there is a case where all requests hve been done, she'll usually choose one herself. But lately there's no time and we have more requests still coming in.
Q: How do I request a review?
A: You can request any time and any thing you want, that's legal ;), by contacting chuckle_vision@hotmail.com or by requesting on the forums
Q: Is the forums open to anyone?
A: Of course. Anyone can joing the FKN forums, so long as they are 13 or older. There are some sections that are specifically for adults and therefore has a password enabled lock, but t ensure that no one under 13 is exposed to any crude langauge ect, as it can occur in other threads, the age rule is a strict must.
Q: How can I help the site?
A: There are numerous ways you can help be a part of this site and to keep it alive. One way is to simple browse here, we enjoy ourselves when you are enjoyig the content. Another way is to make requests for reviews of games, films, ect.
Also a big way you can aid us is by donating to the site. Due to current site issues we can only take donations via cash, which is rather odd we admit, but paypal site maintainers are having some technical difficulties. To enquire about how to make a donation please contact us via our email.
The FKN forum will be getting a new temporary administrator for the next few months. The current owner of the site has several other obligations to take care off including reviews and responding to the overflowing inbox. Yes we read and reply to every email, message, shout out we get from you crazy zany lovely people. An official announcement of the administrator will be made here and on the forum itself. If you're not a member, what are you waiting for ^_^
I've gotten a few emails asking me if I would review Alone in the Dark 4. Now this meant going out and getting a copy, playing it super quick and returning it. Or,option B) getting it off a friend. Thankfully I didn't have to cheat the game shop and got a lend of my friends copy. The review will be posted soon enough and I'm thinking of writing it in a way that is more or less a lengthy bulletpoint on the issues of the key.(hehe)
Lengthy bullet point = regular paragraph articles I hear you say. Well yes and no. The storyline, graphics ect won't be a feature of the review, I'm just picking a handful of complains and compliments I've seen the game get from a variety of sources and trying to come up with my own conclusions on each one. I think some of you that agree with the major consensus, whether you played the game or not, may not be too happy with my own thoughts on the game. But oh well.

So I've been dishing out more Game Reviews in the past week, I had a few days there were time was not set aside, or could of been. So I'm back on track now. Just to note all the games I have reviewed so far, par 1, have been via requests.
